I was using Dr. Barbara Sturm cleanser (it has very gentle surfactants) but my skin still felt tight and dry after cleansing until I switched to this Dermalogica Cleanser. This cleanser is so gentle that I can use it around my eyes to remove the residual sunscreen. As it is a gentle cleanser, please don't expect it to remove make-up. If you apply make-up, I would recommend that you double cleanse and use this cleanser for the second cleanse.
