Drying, heavy, sticky, hairfall and no humidity protection Verdict: prefer the old formula...for now the new styling prep worked better on my hair but unavailable in big size at nykaa. I have really dry 3A-3B unmanageable frizzy curls. I use flat iron most of the year. I've been using Aveda for the past 10 years and never had any complaints. Naturally straight is one of my regulars for heat styling while I keep switching the shampoo and conditioner depending on the season. Aveda formulas changed since its acquisition. The pricing is high too. This is very think and doesn't have enough slip to be used on towel dried hair not as effective as the old formula. Had to use much more product but it doesn't keep my style sleek. It doesn't keep my hair moist either... Humidity protection works a bit better than the old formula but not at the cost of making my hair dry.
