Dafni only makes the hair smooth and shiny looking. initially it will straighten out the waves, but after 1-2 hours the waves will come back. hair will still look smooth and shiny though. it does not make the hair poker straight and flat like a straightening iron, but the hair has more volume when using dafni. Basically: If you want poker straight, flat hair - go for straightening iron If you want semi straight with some volume go for dafni. You will have slight wavy look, with smooth and shiny looking hair.

It's very easy and good but it is heat equipment so don't overuse it.
1. I have mildly wavy hair and the brush hardly made a difference to make it straight. 2. I used it for less than 3 months when it started flashing red and green and stopped working.
