"My holy grail"
I suffer from cystic acne. This oil has really helped to calm down the inflammation from these acne. I am so thankful to JC for such a wonderful oil. This oil is healinggg in a bottle. I would highly recommend this oil to anyone battling acne. It has a leafy smell because of the hemp. It is not too strong or unbearable. Will definitely buy the larger bottle next time. Apply on dampened face as it helps to absorb the oil better. UPDATE : I have attached before and after photos for reference. Skincare is subjective though. What suits me might not necessarily suit you. But I would still suggest my acne fam to give this a try.

I was going to buy Tamanu oil but then I saw this one and bought it. Instead of clearing out my acne it became cause of more acne. This oil is a mixture of many oils which increases it's comedogenicity. I'd say buy a single oil at a time. I'm using rosehip oil and it's working for me.

Don't buy this serum if you are oily sensitive and acne prone skin. It's texture is like an oil and not serum. After 1 application I got terrible cystic acne all over my face.

This product has been good in doing its work from the very first day you apply it. Could see results It controls the acne but it doesn't fade the pre-existing acne marks.

first of all it DOESN'T CONTROL acne rather it boosts their formation...used it for about a month and no results and when i stopped using it....i noticed lesser acne....there are products that work for acne control and it ain't one of them for sure.
"This is my 2nd review - did not work for me, ended up with more pimples"
At first, I had been using the Rosehip serum which was really great for my acne, when I purchased this, I thought I'll get similar results.. the results are slow so you can't really say, but over a period of time, I noticed that I get pimples after applying this serum. Don't get me wrong, I tried using this product on and off, after a few days, after a week, even after a month of not using it (even tried to use it at different times of my hormonal cycle) ALWAYS ENDED UP WITH HUGE PIMPLES. I don't know why this product reacted so badly with my skin whereas the other JC serum worked fine. It's probably because of the really heavy texture and the serum being packed with different oils which end up clogging my oily skin. just really really disappointed :(

"Been using this for over a month "
I already had an old bottle of this and since it got over I bought another from Nykaa. Super happy with this product - I have mild acne (both active and scars) and it’s very stubborn. Even though I have combination skin, the oil works really nicely, soothes active acne and absorbs well into the skin overnight.

I Usually wake up with excess sebum on my face but yeh first night I applied it and the next day my skin wasn’t dry and it wasn’t oily either. I am a little worried that it may dry my natural oils but I’ll be able to figure that out only after a few uses. It however has a strong smell and I expected the feel of the oil to be lighter, it’s quite heavy. For those of you who worry that it’ll further block your pores, apply only 3 drops on a damp face and massage it for 2-3 minutes followed by a jade roller if you have one. That may work for you!

Used this for more than 2 months and I can vouch for this. I mix 3 drops of this in my moisturiser at night and gently massage my face and neck. It smells divine and slowly but definitely clers your skin of irritation and redness. calming effect.

I have used so many acne clearing creams and gels, even doctors prescribed ones but never seen anything working on my acne. but this little bottle is a wonder. just add very little amount with the dropeer on your acne and it will start reducing in hours. juicy chemistry thank u soo much
