Not gonna lie at all it is a nice sunscreen. If your concern is white cast then yes it will leave a bit of a white cast as it has zinc oxide which has proven an amazing ingredient for protecting your skin from sun but after blending it nicely for a few seconds or one minute it is going to blend well and not gonna leave white cast. if your concern is smell then yes the smell is a bit weird and I’m not at all a fan of its smell as it is fragrance free which is why I brought this as fragrance can really irritate your skin and is not good for the long run. This sunscreen can not wash off on its own by water you will definitely need a cleanser or a face wash. I would really suggest you to double cleanse your face if you are using this sunscreen. Overall if you really want to protect your skin and that is the main aim then this is for you as it has very nice ingredients in it as compared to other products. But if you are focusing more on the look and smell then this isn’t for you.It is chemical free, fragrance free and has zinc oxide.Thought it has its cons but very few sunscreen offers such pros.
I have desperately sensitive skin which breaks out for anything apart from my regular skin care regimen, and here is my obeservation. - No break outs, this is after 3 day observation - yes, it gives white caste, but settles for me after few mins, I habe fair skin - warm undertone. - consistency is little runny side, the lotions crawls when taken onto back of ny hand. - it might be too oily for people with oily skin, check out small package first if u can set it with some powder, for me it makes my skin look dewy, I am loving it. - staying power : no comments yet, I have minimum sun exposure. - tan removal : too new to say, not expecting miraculous transformation. - sun protection : yes, I get skin burn for even few mins of sun exposure in my balcony, this did not let it happen. So yes !! Overall, it is a good product. My major ask from this was not to break my skin, and it did it. So, I am going to stick to this till I get something better.
It's a physical sunscreen, so it's definitely gonna leave a bit white cast..but if you use after proper moisturizer then it will blend really well into the skin.. specially for fair skin, it's a bliss as the white cast won't be that much visible on skin..I would say if you wish to have a physical sunscreen & with a really good protection and care for your skin than go for it... it's my 5th purchase...?
The sunscreens got a semi liquid consistency, meaning its not as runny as a lotion nor as thick as a cream, just in between. The only drawback of this is that it leaves a white cast, and because its slightly thick you really need to rub it into your skin in order to omit the whiteness. According to a dermatologist the best way to work with it is to first rub it between your palms before applying it to your face(can even add foundation) works well that way. Also ITS NOT SUITABLE FOR DARKER SINK TONES, i have a wheatish complexing so it does the job well. Hope this review helps. :)
I was a bit skeptical while buying for the white cast, but it is not noticeable.I tried it over already moisturized skin.It is thick and creamy in consistency but with proper blending and giving it a few minutes( good 7-8 mins) to settle,it is not apparent at all and it doesn't feel that heavy!.I have bit dry skin and perspire a lot but this feels absolutely fine.If physical sunscreen is your priority, this is definitely worth a try.You really need to give it TIME though. It's probably the best under a thousand rs!
This product does not melt into the skin, it's very thick so it was difficult to work with, and made my slightly dusky skin tone look very dull. none of my usual make up looked good, it was very depressing. Please go for the regular Neutrogena spf 50 dry touch. That is MUCH BETTER.
So after some research on sunscreens, I found that physical sunblocks with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide are better than chemical sunscreens. However after reading reviews I was concerned about the white cast that this sunscreen might leave and it won't blend as well as others... But honestly you can see from the photos there's nothing to worry about 1. Immediately After applying 2. After blending it 3. After 5 minutes So if your concern is to protect your skin from the harmful sun rays just go for it!
I agree that this does leave a white cast but it is a physical sunscreen, its supposed to. It is a little hard to blend but you should try to dab it in after a little rub and you'll be fine. It also gives a good glow so heyyy, throw that bb cream away! I LOVE IT
This is my second tube and I absolutely love this sunscreen sure it give you white cast which is manageable in summers because it blends and gives you a glowly look after 15-20 mins. Plus it has zinc oxide great for acne prone skin and sensitive skin. It does not clog your pores even after you apply 2-3 layers of it in sun. Do double cleanse in the evening!
Leaves a white cast. A bit on the drying side but very pigmented. If you're looking for good sunscreen with spf this is it.
Not gonna lie it does leave a lit bit of white cast..but its because of zinc oxide which is good ingredient to protect your skin from the sun. Blend it well after using a good moisturizer. (:
I have used this sunscreen a few times. The whitecast settles after a few minutes if applied evenly.
Does a good job. Since it is mineral sunscreen hence it leave a slight white cast.
Good sunscreen but after applying on face it's look white cast and the sunscreens bit costly compare to other sunscreens other wise the sunscreen was good?
It is a mineral sunscreen so ofcourse it will leave a white cast, but it eventually fades with blending. The best part is it is fragrance free, oil free and PABA free. It’s very light on the skin and not heavy/greasy. Absolutely love this. If you’re looking for a perfect sunscreen and don’t mind the white cast definitely invest in this one.
I loved the product that it dogs feels like I'm applying sunscreen .It's dry touch so its a little bit hard . But i feel heavy and oily not greasy like I'm wearing some foundation
First I was using neutrogena ultra sheer sunblock and I changed to neutrogena sheer zinc sunblock
Best this about this product is it has zinc oxide it might leave lil bit whitish layer coz it has zinc otherwise it really good sunscreen ?
